Lately, I've been into mixing basic black and whites to create a sleek clean look. This outfit has all of the elements I look for in an ensemble. It has texture, fluidity, comfort, and a little added sass when paired with these Qupid close toed heels. Of which, I looked everywhere for online but could not find. :( This look is perfect for a night out or if you want to grab brunch with friends.

As a matter of fact, that is exactly what I did before we began our photo shoot. I had the pleasure of hanging out with the talented Giles Clement (@gilesclement) who is nationally known for his work in Tin-type photography. It was a pleasure sitting down with him and Anna (who assisted him all weekend.) We chat about where he has been for his work, where he plans to go, and just general conversation about life. It is so important to learn from those around you so take the time to meet as many people as possible and hear their story. I guarantee you will have a greater appreciation for the people you are sharing this earth with.

Happy Friday friends. Hope you all have a fabulous fun filled weekend!

At last, it's Friday! This week has been quite hectic so I welcome the weekend break. I am actually heading to Asheville to visit my best friend Caroline for a couple of days. Asheville is already a great place but add in friends and the possible chance of snow...I am one happy lady.

Speaking of snow, the weather in NC has been unnaturally pleasant the last couple of days. With temps in the upper 50's and lower 60's. I took advantage by styling this Target cowl neck sweater dress which I acquired a couple of weeks ago. To give a little extra warmth I layered it with this baby blue Forever 21 coat that has been on repeat lately.

Hope you all have a wonderful safe weekend!

There is nothing quit like a dreary frolic through Old Salem, with the smell of fresh bread being baked only 20 yards from where we stood. I find beauty in the dreary days because of the quietness it brings. There was not much commotion going on around us besides the clicking of Anna's camera and the sounds of the church bells ringing. It was the perfect atmosphere to compliment this look.

Anna joked that I reminded her of a woodland fairy with my hair done up like this (which I took as a huge compliment). :) The best part about this hairstyle is that it takes all of 2 seconds to do. Just put on a headband, tuck and roll the hair over the elastic, and you are finished. It was the final touch to this girly chic look I put together. I've had this Lauren Conrad blouse for sometime now and still wear it constantly. I love the textured flower detail mixed with the solid print skirt and layered trench.

Lastly, I think I have found a new obsession and that is for Chelsea boots. I know I am a little late in the game but I am in love. The comfort and versatility of these fabulous Target boots is like no other. I can wear them for a casual day of running errands or a night out on the town. I highly suggest getting a pair as you will not be disappointed.

I am super excited to have had the opportunity to collaborate with life long friends and promote their amazing clothing company, Freeligious. Based out of Southern California, Freeligious began with a mission to "craft quality apparel for those hungry to enjoy a lifestyle unbound by personal limitations." Co-owners Jonathan Mesic and Kerry Helton have really set the bar high for quality made apparel that is not only comfortable but affordable as well.

I can't tell you how soft and functional this Golden Coast Sweatshirt is from their winter line. Made primarily of a polyester and cotton blend with no tag (yes!) for ultimate comfort. If anyone knows me they know I can't stand tags on anything so this is just an added bonus. I styled it for a more causal outdoorsy look here but I have also worn it with jeans, booties, and a tie wasted jacket. As I have said before, versatility is key and this sweatshirt has that.

With that said, show some some love to Freeligious clothing Company! A company which has already gone far in a short amount of time and will only continue to grow.
